Type locality. Vietnam (Kien Giang: Phu Quoc ).
Type material. MNHN (AE586 (A 730)), France.
Records from Vietnam. Kien Giang ( Phu Quoc Isl. ) ( Michaelsen 1934b).
Distribution. Only known from Vietnam.
Vietnamese name. Giun phú quốc thứ nhất.
Remarks. There are no other records since its original description. Thai (1983) proposed a new subgenus Terrata of the genus Pheretima , and placed the species in the new subgenus.
