D i s t r i b u t i o n: Iran, eastern Turkey (KALLIES & ŠPATENKA (2003a).
R e m a r k s: this peculiar species was in Turkey only known from one specimen in the surroundings of Van. It appears to be very local but can be common on a suitable biotope. The species was also discovered on the north side of Nemrut Dağı (Prov. Malatya) which is almost 500 km to the west.
