D i s t r i b u t i o n: Turkey (Cappadocia and Taurus Mts.) ( KALLIES et al. 1998).
R e m a r k s: this species does not seem to occur in eastern Turkey. The larvae live in the roots of Ononis spinosa or an Ononis species that resembles this plant strongly, and in the roots of Psoralea bituminosa (KALLIES in litt.).
