D i s t r i b u t i o n: Turkey (Cappadocia).
R e m a r k s: this subspecies can be very common but is restricted to Cappadocia. We found several larvae in one root (up to ten or more). The food plant is the same as for B. syzcjovi syzcjovi. Only minor differences with the nominotypical subspecies can be found in the male and none at all in the female.
