Type materials. Holotype: ♂ (EUMJ), “[ Taiwan] Dahanshan (Mt.)/ Alt. ca. 1,500m / Chunri Township/ Pingtung County/ 30–31. III, 2012/ J. Yamasako leg.” [locality name also written by Chinese character]. Paratypes: 1♂ (EUMJ), same locality as holotype, 11–12. IV. 2012, N. Ohbayashi leg.; 1♀ (EUMJ), same data; 1♂ (EUMJ), Mt. Xinan-shan, Alt. ca. 1,600m, Taoyuan Township, Kaohsiung, 20–30. III. 2012, N. Ohbayashi leg.; 2♂♂ 2♀♀ (EUMJ), same data as holotype.

Type locality. Mt. Dahan-shan, Chunrih Township, Pingtung County, Taiwan.

Diagnosis. This species is similar to A. choui , but easily distinguishable by the following characteristics: antennae and legs entirely yellowish orange, pterothoraces brownish black, and surrounding parts of elytral suture milky white; pygidial struts straight apically, spicular fork lacking spicular lobes; fully inflated phallus forming a significantly acute angle toward the tegmen; phallobasic apodeme elongate; phallic plates thicker.

Additional description. Male (n = 5, Fig. 2 View FIGURE 2 B): Antennomeres 4 to 6 weakly serrate, gradually shortened toward apical segments; 7th to 10th serrate; 7th and 8th as wide as length; 9th and 10th wider than long.

Aedeagus in fully inflated condition ( Fig. 6 View FIGURE 6 I) significantly and acutely curved at the base of CM in lateral view; CM cylindrically swollen, slightly dilated basally; phallus cylindrically swollen in basal half, thence tapered apically. Phallic ventral membrane ( Fig. 6 View FIGURE 6 J) with a linear median sclerite.

Female (n = 3): Pygidium ( Fig. 7 View FIGURE 7 G) trapezoidal; pygidial struts stout, short. Eighth sternite ( Fig. 7 View FIGURE 7 H) with apical margin incised at middle.

Distribution. Taiwan (Kaohsiung, Pingtung).
