Type Material. Holotype, male, China: Shannxi province, Taibai county, 23 July 1994, Leg. Wang Min. Paratypes, Henan province, Luanchuan county, Longyuwan, 1000 m, 10–14 July 1996, 1 male, Leg. Wang Bei-Xin; same location, 20 July, 2004, 1 male, Leg. Liu Wei-Xing; Shaanxi province, Fengcounty, Qinling station, 21 July 1994, 3 males, Leg. Yang Fang; Shannxi province, Tiantai Mt., head waters of Jialing river, 1650 m, 30 August 2006, 8 males, Leg. Wang Zhi-Jie; same location, 31 August 2006, 3 male, Leg. Wang Xiao-Wang; Shannxi province, Taibai Mt., Haoping Temple, 13–15 August 1981, 2 males, Leg. unknown.

Diagnosis. This species is characterized by the aedeagal tube being sac-like with a pair of small, apical, tongue-shaped sclerites on ventroapical surface.

15 16 14 Description. Adult habitus ( Fig. 12 View FIGURES 12 – 16. K ). General color yellow-brown to brown. Head with yellow-brown background color, but a darker, interocellar triangle open posteriorly. Basal antennal segment dark brown, second and subsequent segments pale yellow-brown. Pronotum pale brown with scattered pale rugosities on disk ( Fig. 13 View FIGURES 12 – 16. K ). Wing membrane fuscous with darker veins. Legs yellow-brown with narrow, black band at apex of femora; base of tibiae dark brown.

Male. Forewing length 21 mm. Presternum of metathorax with a small patch of hairs. Hemitergal lobes slender, finger-like and with a few sensilla basiconica on ventroapical margin. Tergum 9 with a mesal, wide band-like patch of sensilla basiconica; tergum 8 with a smaller, band-like patch of sensilla basiconica and extending over most of tergum length ( Fig. 14 View FIGURES 12 – 16. K ); tergum 7 with a few sensilla basiconica in a sparse mesal patch. Hair brushes present on sterna 4–7. Aedeagus membranous, tube with a small tongue-shaped sclerite on ventroapical surface. Sac with two thirds section armed with a large patch of moderate sized spines; patch encircles dorsolateral area but is interrupted ventrally by a median longitudinal bare area and dorsally by a nearly triangular bare area; subapical dorsal surface with a triangular patch of moderate spines; apex naked but bearing a pair of large spines ( Figs. 15, 16 View FIGURES 12 – 16. K ).

Female. Unknown.

Etymology. The patronym honors Dr. Wang Min, one specimen of this species collected by him is used as the holotype.

Remarks. Males of this species are similar to K. chungnanshana Wu , but differ significantly in aedeagal features, K. chungnanshana lacks a pair of large spines on ventroapical surface.
