Plzeň-Bolevec (6246), Velký bolevecký rybník (pond), 49°46′33″N 13°23′27″E, 310 m, Elch/Schpl, 2/ 6.vi.2022, 5 ♂ ( MCH); same data, 18.vii.2023, 24 ♂ ( MCH). Přestavlky, 1.5 km SW (6445), 49°35′21″N 13°13′17″E, 390 m, forest pond, Elch, 15.viii.2023 GoogleMaps , 1 ♂ ( MCH) .
Distribution. Austria, Great Britain, Finland, France, Germany, Netherlands ( Pollet & Meuffels 2023), Russia (European part), Sweden ( Negrobov & Naglis 2020) and Czech Republic ( Olejníček 1984, and present paper).
Status in CZ. Previously recorded from Valtice in southern Moravia ( Olejníček 1984), based on a single male (26.vi.1973, J. Olejníček lgt.), identified by O. Negrobov and deposited in Negrobov’s collection (not examined). The first records of this species from Bohemia are given herein.
Ecology. Collected from Eleocharis palustris in Sweden ( Ringdahl 1953) and similarly all new CZ records are from sites where Eleocharis (mainly E. palustris ) occurs and is mostly abundant.
