The group comprises 4 species. It is characterised as follows:
ground colour of forewing blackish brown with violet tint (apo.);
antemedial and upper half of subterminal lines well marked, black;
reniform stigma prominent, yellowish;
hindwing with indistinct discal spot;
saccus short, triangular;
tergite inconspicuous;
phallus broadest at ductus ejaculatorius, curved subapically, tapered towards apex;
vesica most often with small triangular cornuti;
ductus bursae very long, cylindrical, membranous; medially with coil close to ductus seminalis.
