The group comprises 4 species. It is characterised as follows:

­ ground colour of forewing blackish brown with violet tint (apo.);

­ antemedial and upper half of subterminal lines well marked, black;

­ reniform stigma prominent, yellowish;

­ hindwing with indistinct discal spot;

­ saccus short, triangular;

­ tergite inconspicuous;

­ phallus broadest at ductus ejaculatorius, curved subapically, tapered towards apex;

­ vesica most often with small triangular cornuti;

­ ductus bursae very long, cylindrical, membranous; medially with coil close to ductus seminalis.
