Type locality: Ili gebiet [Ili Valley, SE Kazakhstan or NW China]. Type material (holotype) in MHUB ( Fig. 22 ), examined.

Synonymy ( Yakovlev 2006):

= Cossus aksuensis Daniel, 1953: 257 –258.

Type locality: Aksu [ China, Xinjang , Aksu].
