Lectotype (Soreng in Cafferty & al. in Taxon 49: 254. 2000): Herb. Linn. No. 87.12, excl. second culm from left ( LINN) .

Current name: Poa angustifolia L. ( Poaceae ).

Note: Although Kerguélen (in Lejeunia, n.s., 75: 235. 1975) stated "Type: ...LINN", this is not accepted as a formal typification, for the reasons explained by Cafferty & al. (in Taxon 49: 240. 2000). Meikle (Fl. Cyprus 2: 1744. 1985) indicated unspecified material at LINN as type, but did not distinguish between several possible specimens, which are evidently not part of a single gathering so Art. 9.15 does not apply.
