Genus Dimeris Ruthe View in CoL
Dimeris View in CoL , with species known only from the Palearctic Region, was synonymized with Pambolus View in CoL in Foerster (1862). It was treated as a junior synonym or subgenus of Pambolus View in CoL ( Belokobylskij & Tobias 1986; Yu et al. 2005) until Belokobylskij (1986) revised its status as a valid genus. Only the type species, Dimeris mira Ruthe View in CoL , is known, although it has two junior synonyms. The females of D. mira View in CoL are brachypterous with lanceolate fore wings; males are macropterous.
