Remarks. Borovec (Borovec & Bahr 2008) examined 160 females of this species, from Spain (Cádiz) and Morocco ( Tanger). The present record is the first discovery of a male. The male is externally indistinguishable from females except for the shape of the abdominal ventrites, with ventrite 5 shorter, apically broadly rounded and ventrites 1 and 2 shallowly concave, while females have ventrite 5 longer, subtriangular and ventrites 1 and 2 slightly convex. The penis is illustrated here for the first time ( Figs 32, 33 View FIGURES 22 - 39. 22, 23 ).
