incl. Ceylon & Burma, ( Coleoptera : Staphylinidae ), 3: 100.

Material examined: 1 ex, India: Uttarakhand, Nainital,

19.x.1990, S. Biswas & K. V. Surya Rao .

Diagnosis: Head and abdomen black, thorax and elytra red, thorax with dorsal row of four punctures. Antennae with the first three joints reddish-yellow, the rest blackish. Legs reddish yellow, the tibiae infuscate. Length 5 mm.

Distribution: India: Uttarakhand: Nainital, Assam, Manipur.
