Distribution. Belgium, Germany, Russia (European part), Switzerland ( Negrobov & Naglis 2016), Croatia ( Pollet & Ivković 2018), Sweden ( Persson et al. 2019) and Czech Republic ( Roháček et al. 2021).

Status in CZ. Recorded for the first time only recently, from Supíkovice in northern Moravia ( Roháček et al. 2021). The first record from Bohemia is presented herein.

Ecology. All above listed specimens were collected from trunks of young, healthy poplars, growing in sandpits. In Belgium, this species has been collected in a variety of biotopes, including park landscapes, and on different deciduous tree species (M. Pollet, unpubl. data).
