Distribution.
Colombia ( Molano et al. 2016), Venezuela ( Drake and Maldonado-Capriles 1952), French Guiana (this work), Brazil ( Spangler 1986), Peru ( Spangler 1986), Paraguay ( Drake and Roze 1955), Argentina ( Mazzucconi and Bachmann 1997).
Note.
Most of the specimens above display an approximately V-shaped whitish pruinose area on the posterior lobe of the pronotum, which is not expected for this species ( Floriano and Rodrigues 2016). This could lead to a confusion with O. rivicola Spangler, 1986, but the male parameres examined are not distinctly widened near the apex, and agree with those drawn by Spangler (1986) and Floriano and Rodrigues (2016) for O. cunucunumana .
