Ruizantheda (Ruizanthedella) Moure, 1964: 267 . Type species: Halictus mutabilis Spinola
The genus Ruizanthedella can be distinguished from other genera of Caenohalictini by the following characters of the male: labrum with apical process, apical margin of S4 medially concave, and retrorse lobe of genital capsule with no basal projection. The genus is phylogenetically close to the clade Pseudagapostemon View in CoL + Ruizantheda View in CoL (molecular data, Danforth et al. 2004), or sister to Ruizantheda View in CoL (morphological data, Gonçalves & Melo 2009). The relationships with other genera have been also discussed in González-Vaquero and Roig-Alsina (2009) and Coelho et al. (2014). According to available catalogues ( Moure 2007; Montalva & Ruz 2010), the genus Ruizanthedella contains three species: R. mutabilis ( Spinola, 1851) , R. nigrocaerulea ( Spinola, 1851) , and R. cerdai ( Rojas, 2001) .
