Greenish olivaceous, very broad at humerals. Head very narrow; eyes prominent; ocelli twice as distant from each other as from eyes; vertex mostly piceous, considerably longer than front, its front sides produced as small lobes, hairy; front convex, prominent, piceous, a depression occupying superior surface.
Pronotum very narrow in front, very broad at humerals, nearly double broader, very hairy; greenish olivaceous, two interior oblique furrows, transverse furrow, posteriorly, large spot on each side of dorsum, infuscate posterior border narrow at middle much broader toward posterior lateral angles which are produced, green, exterior borders sinuate,
Mesonotum olivaceous, lateral borders, depression and two small dots in front of cross, fuscous; posterior bor der truncate, not excavated.
Abdomen fuscous, narrower than mesonotum, suddenly narrowed at middle and then gradually attenuate to pointed apex; sides of first and second segments, posterior segmental borders except last narrowly, and anal segment, sordid olivaceous, with long hairs.
Tegmina three times longer than broad, including base and basal cell bronze hyaline, veins greenish toward base, darker toward apex; border begining at base of first api cal around to apex of clavus narrowly infuscate, including bases of first and second apical cells; first apical cell onethird longer than second; first transverse vein oblique, se cond more oblique; apex of interior ulnar cell a little broad er than base. Wings hyaline, posterior border lightly infuscate; veins pale yellow except transverse veins, apex and front border of anal flaps, fuscous.
Below: Face convex, longitudinally sulcate, very hairy, fuscous, sides piceous; clypeus tectiform, fuscous, hairy. Chest greenish olivaceous fuscous marked; legs olivaceous, with stripes, tips of middle and posterior tibiae and claws, fuscous; front femora 3-toothed; beak olivaceous, apical half fusebus reaching posterior coxae. Abdomen castan eous and ochraceous, last ventral segment lightly sin uate; ovipositor long, ochraceous, covered with long hairs, apex yellowish.

Hab: Surula , near Macas (Madera).
The broad humerals with narrow head, and peculiar shape of the abdomen together the narrowly bordered teg mina and wings will easily distinguish this species.
