Genus Plautilla Stal

A single species has been described from Quito. It is yellowish, with brown spots on bases of apical cells of teg ­ mina and on their longitudinal veins at tips; apparently but one vein passes out from basal cell; the costa sud ­ denly and strongly curved near its base. The dilated bor ­ ders of pronotum will separate this species from the Di ­ vision Melampsaltria, which is not represented in Ecuador ................................................................ stalagmoptera, Stal ;
