Current name: Equisetum palustre L. ( Equisetaceae ).

Note: Hauke (in Nova Hedwigia 13: 106. 1966; 30: 425. 1978) noted that the material on sheet 1241.5 (LINN) belongs to E. arvense L. and so designated the diagnosis as the type. However, this is contrary to Art. 8.1.
