Remarks: Stenasellus hungaricus thermalis Meštrov, 1960 (currently Protelsonia hungarica thermalis ( Meštrov, 1960)) is the primary senior homonym of Stenasellus skopljensis thermalis Meštrov & Lattinger-Penko, 1971 (currently Balkanostenasellus skopljensis thermalis Meštrov & Lattinger-Penko, 1971 ). However, the junior homonym cannot be replaced without an application to the ICZN (ICZN Article 23.9.5.) as the two taxa are currently in different genera.
