Hydropsyche hamifera View in CoL , species group
Hydropsyche View in CoL group Mey 1990: 414, referred to as a little known group and now separated as an distinct clade of the hamifera View in CoL species group.
The H. hamifera View in CoL species group was established by Mey (1998d). It is characterized by species having basal section of phallotheca simply bent; the phallotremal sclerites on the dorsal side are fused with a shorter or longer elongation, forming a phallotremal tongue, which gives the apex of the phallotheca a trifurcate appearance. The apicodorsal setose process of segment X is shifted anteriorly, forming a pair of small processes on the flat dorsum.
