Hydromanicus truncatus , new species group

This species group has the following combination of characters: (1) presence of more or less pronounced longitudinal sutures dorsolaterally on segment IX, dividing segment IX into a smaller dorsal and a larger ventral part, easily visible in lateral view; (2) segment IX with broad and rounded apical lobes; (3) segment X elongate and narrow; (4) preanal appendages long and simple; (5) broad mesoventral, subapical keel on phallotheca present except in H. serubabel Malicky & Chantaramongkol where it is rudimentary.
