Type locality. Tadzhikistan .

Remarks. Several specimens from Hushe and Gilgit in Pakistan have been examined, and all have endophallus with clearly free, tube-like sac not attached to dorsum of phallotheca. The attachment of endophallus to the dorsal wall of the phallotheca is otherwise a rather stable character of the Hydropsyche fluvialis species group. All other species have attached endophallus .
