The javanica clade was established by Mey (2003). The species in this clade have all a long phallotremal tongue-like process reaching the tip or nearly reaching the tip of the phallic apparatus; enlarged base of the phallotremal sclerite surrounding the phallotremal opening; dorsum above the phallotrema being weakly sclerotized; and the tip of the phallic apparatus consisting of the membranous endotheca, forming a pair of erectile lobes.
