Hydropsyche guttata , new species cluster

Species are characterized by the fused sclerotized endothecal processes without digitiform, apicoventral set- ose lobes and without angular, sub-apical, lateral projections before the cleft apex of the phallotheca ( Mosely 1939a). This group was mentioned and treated as “ ornatula-guttata-contubernalis ” species complex (Tobias, 1972) and Hydropsyche guttata group ( Kumanski and Botosaneanu, 1974) without formal taxonomic designation. In a detailed study on the Hydropsyche guttata group by Malicky (1977) species with lateral subapical projections were also included.
