Ecological category. Endogeic, hygrophilous.

Habitat. Moist, clayey soils. Grasslands and deciduous forests.

Zoogeographical distribution type. Trans-Aegean.

Distribution in Croatia. Along the Croatian northern border, following the Drava River in the Continental region. Šapkarev (1979): Darda, Kopačevo, Osijek, Valpovo, Virovitica, Zaprešić; Mršić (1987a): Jankovac (Papuk); Jelić (1985): Sakadaško jezero, Podunavlje; Hackenberger: Mikleuš.
