Naryciodes Matsumura, 1931 View in CoL
Naryciodes Matsumura, 1931: 1107 View in CoL . Type species: Naryciodes posticalis Matsumura, 1931 View in CoL .
Diagnosis. This genus can be characterized by three differences from the generalized features of Limacodidae given by Epstein et al. (1999): the forewing venation with Rs3 and Rs4 unstalked, and the male genitalia with the vestigial gnathos and an elongate, slender uncus. Naryciodes is similar to Euphlyctonides Hering, 1931 in external appearance (illustrated in Solovyev & Witt 2009), but differs from the latter in having the stout phallus in the male genitalia and the uncoiled ductus bursae in the female genitalia.
Description. Antenna filiform in both sexes; maxillary palpus reduced. Tibial spurs 0-2-2. Forewing subrectangular. Forewing venation ( Fig. 4 View FIGURES 1 – 4. 1 ) with Sc reaching margin at basal 2/3 of costa; R reaching margin at basal 3/4 of costa, arising from basal 3/5 of Rs stem; Rs1 and Rs2 stalking, diverging at distal 1/4, Rs3 and Rs4 slightly divergent in distal half; Rs4, M1, and M2 nearly parallel; M2 and M3 divergent; CuA1 arched, slightly divergent from M3, almost parallel with CuA2; CuP as fold on basal 2/5, closer to 1A+2A. Hindwing venation ( Fig. 4 View FIGURES 1 – 4. 1 ) with Sc+R1 reaching margin near distal 1/6 of anterior margin; Rs reaching apex, slightly divergent from M1; M1 and M2 almost parallel; M1, M2, and M3 evenly spaced at margin; M2 arched at basal 2/5, closer to M3 basally; M3 and CuA1 connate, divergent; CuA1 and CuA2 almost parallel; CuP nearly straight; 1A+2A 1.5× longer than 3A. Male genitalia: Uncus elongate; gnathos vestigial, as transverse bulge; valva elongate, simple; phallus stout, without coecum; cornuti as spinulate zone. Female genitalia: Ductus seminalis arising below antrum; corpus bursae obovate; signum as narrow, transverse plate. Included species:
