Distribution. China (Zhejiang, Fujian, Guangdong, Guangxi, Hainan, Shaanxi, Taiwan), N. America, C. & S. America, W. Indies, E. Africa, Ceylon, Japan, Micronesia, Philippines, Indonesia, New Guinea, Australia, Melanesia, New Zealand, Polynesia.
Remarks. This species can be distinguished by the following features: aedeagal shaft abruptly curved dorsally and then anteriorly, middle section nearly straight; female with apical margin of pregenital abdominal sternite convex.
