Habitat in Virginia, Canada, Lusitania. ♃
Culmus bipedalis, arundinaceus. Folia in culmo sex, lata, culmo longiora, laevissima margine scabra, incurva, pagina interiore glauciore. Spicae sex s. plurimae, secundae, divergentes, paleaceae; flosculis imbricatis latere postico scabris. Calycibus unifloris carina scabris, mucronatis, flosculo longioribus, sessilibus, secundis. Pistillis villosis longioribus.
