Reported from Greece by Faulwetter et al. (2011a) under this name, previously reported as Syllis lutea ( Hartmann-Schröder, 1960) by Arvanitidis (1994) (see also Table 1). Type locality: Mediterranean (Columbretes Islands, Spain).
