Lorryia navidi n. sp. (Figs. 2634)
DIAGNOSIS: Dorsal setae serrated except for trichobothrium sci, which is more than three times longer than the other dorsal setae, dorsocentral striae longitudinal from half way between c 1 and d to half way between d and f 1, cheliceral stylets twice as long as palptarsus and empodial claws present.
FIGURES 2634. Lorryia navidi n. sp. (Female). 26. Dorsal view; 27. Dorsal setae (seta c 1); 28.Anogenital area; 29. Cheliceral stylet; 30. Palp; 31. Leg I; 32. Leg II; 33. Leg III; 34. Leg IV.
Female (4 specimens)
Length of idiosoma 287 (265 306), width 167 (151 186).
Dorsum (Figs.2627) Dorsum completely covered with striae (Fig.26), with two pairs of lyrifissures, one between setae c 1 and d and the other between d and e. All dorsal body setae serrated and rather curved (Fig. 27), except for sensory setae. Trichobothrial setae (sci) very long, more than three times as long as other dorsal body setae, simple and smooth. Opisthosoma provided with five pairs of dorsocentral setae, c 1, d, e, f 1 and h 1 and three pairs in lateral setae c 2, f 2 and h 2 all equal to subequal in length. Measurements of setae as follows: vi 13, ve 13, sci 50, sce 13 (16), c 1 16, c 2 16, d 16, e 16, f 1 16, f 2 16, h 1 13 (16) and h 2 14 (16).
Venter (Fig. 28) Venter with one pair of lyrifissures behind anal valves, genital slit, surrounded by six pairs of genital (g 16), four pairs of aggenital (ag 1 4) and two pairs of anal setae (ps 1 2). Epimeral formula 3142.
Gnathosoma (Figs.2930) Completely covered by propodosoma, adoral setae minute (or 1 2), hypostome also provided with two longer simple setae (m and n). Palp 47 (50 54) long, with setal formula (tarsus –genu)6 2 2. Palptarsus three times as long as broad and 2.5 times longer than palptibia, setae p ', v, d and l" very long and smooth, setae ba very short, seta p blunt distally and the rest acute (Fig. 30). Cheliceral stylets (32) twice as long as palptarsus (16) (Fig. 29).
Legs (Figs. 3134) Measurements of legs (from the base of trochanter to end of pretarsus): leg I 139 (139 142), leg II 123 (120 123), leg III 123 (126) and leg IV 132 (132 142). All legs ending in a pair of simple claws and a hairy empodium (figs.3134). Empodial claws present. Chaetotaxy of leg segments: tarsi 8 (1)6 (1)55, tibiae 4222, genua 3211, femora 3321, trochanters 1010, coxae 2131. Solenidion on tarsus I as depicted on fig. 31 and tarsus II in fig. 32. Tibia I with seta k forked. Seta ft' and ft" subequal in length, tc and ft setae similar all eupathidial except for ft'.
MALE: Unknown.
ETYMOLOGY. This species is named after Dr. Mostafa Navidi , Head of Department of Agriculture of Kabutarahang and collector of type material
REMARKS: Lorryia navidi resembles L. maga (Kuznetzov) but can be distinguished from the latter in that the longitudinal dorsomedian striae of the opisthosoma extended just pass setae d instead of f 1, prodorsum without spindleshape formed by striae lateral to ve and cheliceral stylet twice longer than palptarsus opposed to slightly longer in L. maga .
TYPE MATERIAL: Holotype Female from soil covered wheat, Kabutarahang, Gheseljeh, 12 Sep. 2000, M. Navidi , three paratype female, same data.
