Notes. Comparison of the type material of Marasmarcha pacifica BMNH (London) with Pterophorus purus DNMNH (former TM, Pretoria) confirmed that Pterophorus purus Meyrick, 1913 is the junior synonym of Crassuncus pacifica (Meyrick, 1911) . New for Malawi.
