Amara azteca Bates, 1882a: 79. Type locality: "Oaxaca, Mexico" (lectotype label). Lectotype (♂), designated by Hieke (1993: 108), in BMNH. Synonymy established by Hieke (1993: 108).
Distribution.
The range of this species extends from southern Arizona and western Texas south to Guatemala (Hieke 1993: 110).
