Sharqencyrtus Hayat and Kazmi, 2011 .

Type species: Sharqencyrtus hulbi Hayat and Kazmi , by original designation.

Female. Overall length about 1.45–2.20mm. Head with frontovertex curved in profile, about one-third head width; occipital margin sharp; eyes over-reaching occiput posteriorly, slightly more than 2× as long as malar space; scrobes inverted U-shaped; antennal torulus with upper margin clearly below eye margin; antennal formula,1–1– 6–3; scape flattened and expanded beneath, about 2× as long as width; pedicel slightly longer than F1, funicle 6- segmented; F1–F6 gradually width, F5 quadrate and F6 broader than long; clava 3-segmented, shorter than F3–F6 combined. Mandible with two teeth and a truncation; palp formula 4–3.

Mesosoma with notaular lines absent; mesoscutum and scutellum with fine, scale like sculpture and clothed in fairly dense setae; propodeum medially about one-fifth scutellum length, with four longitudinal ridges medially and a curved ridge enclosing these four ridges. Fore wing infuscate, filum spinosum present; marginal vein longer than postmarginal vein and shorter than stigmal vein. Tarsi 5-segmented.

Metasoma about two-thirds the length of mesosoma; cercal plates in basal third; hypopygium clothed in fairly dense setae and extending nearly to apex of metasoma; ovipositor shorter than mid tibia, hardly exserted.

Male. Unknown.

Comments. The genus Sharqencyrtus Hayat and Kazmi is similar to Rhytidothorax Ashmead because they share a similar of shape, but differs as follows: apical protrusion of hypopygium and the edge dently setose (apical rounded of hypopygium in Rhytidothorax ); mandible with two teeth and a truncation (one or two pointed teeth and usually a receding small truncation in Rhytidothorax ); thin stigma vein without a swollen stigma (with swollen stigma in Rhytidothorax ).
