44. Rhipicephalus lounsburyi Walker, 1990 .

An Afrotropical species whose adults are usually found on Artiodactyla : Bovidae , but they have also been collected from Carnivora : Felidae ; nymphs have been collected from Rodentia : Muridae . There are no records of Rhipicephalus lounsburyi causing human parasitism.
