An Afrotropical and Palearctic species whose adults are usually found on Artiodactyla : Bovidae ; nymphs and larvae have been collected from Rodentia : Muridae (Guglielmone et al. 2014, Harrison et al. 2015). There are no records of Rhipicephalus camicasi causing human parasitism.
