23. Rhipicephalus duttoni Neumann, 1907a.

An Afrotropical species, all of whose parasitic stages are usually found on Artiodactyla : Bovidae . Adults and nymphs have been collected from Lagomorpha : Leporidae ; adults alone have been recovered from Carnivora : Canidae and Viverridae , Perissodactyla : Equidae , and Otidiformes: Otididae (Guglielmone et al. 2014, Horak et al. 2018). There are no records of Rhipicephalus duttoni causing human parasitism.
