3. Rhipicephalus aquatilis Walker, Keirans and Pegram, 1993 . An Afrotropical species whose adults are usually found on Artiodactyla : Bovidae , but they have also been collected from Carnivora : Felidae . There are no records of Rhipicephalus aquatilis causing human parasitism.
