An Oriental species whose adults and immature stages have been found on Carnivora : Canidae and Mustelidae , and Rodentia : Muridae ; adults alone have been collected from Artiodactyla : Bovidae , Carnivora : Viverridae , and Rodentia : Sciuridae ; immature stages alone have been recovered from Carnivora : Herpestidae , and Soricomorpha : Soricidae . Haemaphysalis heinrichi is a very rare parasite of humans.
