126. Haemaphysalis pospelovashtromae Hoogstraal, 1966b .

A Palearctic species whose adults are usually found on Artiodactyla : Bovidae , but they have also been collected from Artiodactyla : Suidae , Carnivora : Canidae , and Rodentia : Sciuridae . Larvae and nymphs have been collected from Mammalia (several orders) and Passeriformes : Sittidae (Guglielmone et al. 2014, Tsapko 2017). There are no records of Haemaphysalis pospelovashtromae causing human parasitism.
