An Oriental species whose adults are usually found on Carnivora : Felidae , but they have also been collected from Lagomorpha : Leporidae ; nymphs have been recovered from Rodentia : Sciuridae , and Cuculiformes : Cuculidae . There are no records of Haemaphysalis silvafelis causing human parasitism.
