A Palearctic species whose adults are usually found on Artiodactyla : Bovidae ; larvae and nymphs are commonly recovered from Lagomorpha : Leporidae and Ochotonidae , and Rodentia (several families). All parasitic stages have been found on Rodentia : Sciuridae ; adults alone have been recovered from Artiodactyla : Bovidae and Camelidae , and Perissodactyla : Equidae ; while larvae and nymphs have been collected on Lagomorpha : Leporidae and Ochotonidae , and Rodentia (several families). There are no records of Dermacentor pavlovskyi causing human parasitism.
