12. Haemaphysalis bandicota Hoogstraal and Kohls, 1965b . An Oriental species, all of whose parasitic stages are usually found on Rodentia : Muridae . Adults and immature stages have been collected from Scandentia : Tupaiidae , and Carnivora : Herpestidae ; adults alone have been recovered from Artiodactyla : Bovidae . There are no records of Haemaphysalis bandicota causing human parasitism.
