80. Amblyomma naponense ( Packard, 1869) .

A Neotropical species, all of whose parasitic stages have been found on Pilosa : Myrmecophagidae ; adults and nymphs have been found on Artiodactyla : Tayassuidae , Carnivora : Canidae and Procyonidae , Perissodactyla : Tapiridae , and Rodentia : Caviidae , Cuniculidae and Dasyproctidae ; adult ticks alone have been collected from Artiodactyla : Cervidae and Suidae ; immature stages have been recovered from Carnivora : Mustelidae ; Didelphimorphia : Didelphidae , Rodentia : Cricetidae , and Echimyidae , Coraciiformes : Momotidae , Galliformes : Cracidae , and Passeriformes (several families) ( Acosta et al. 2016, Bermúdez et al. 2018, Gianizella et al. 2018b, Guglielmone & Robbins, 2018, Gruhn et al. 2019, Domínguez et al. 2019). Amblyomma naponense is a sporadic parasite of humans.
