A Neotropical species whose adults are usually found on Perissodactyla : Tapiridae ; immature stages have been collected from Tapiridae , Artiodactyla : Cervidae , Carnivora : Canidae , Felidae and Procyonidae , and Didelphimorphia : Didelphidae . Amblyomma incisum is a sporadic parasite of humans.
