An Oriental species whose adults have been found on Artiodactyla : Bovidae and Cervidae , Carnivora : Canidae and Felidae , Lagomorpha : Leporidae , and Galliformes : Phasianidae . Ixodes sinensis is a very rare parasite of humans.
