100. Ixodes himalayensis Dhanda and Kulkarni, 1969a .

An Oriental species, all of whose parasitic stages are usually found on Rodentia : Muridae , with provisional records of larvae and nymphs from Soricomorpha : Soricidae in Clifford et al. (1975a) . There are no records of Ixodes himalayensis causing human parasitism.
