102. Ixodes holocyclus Neumann, 1899 View in CoL .
An Australasian species, all of whose parasitic stages have been found on Mammalia (several orders) and Passeriformes : Cracticidae ; adults alone have been collected from Passeriformes : Corvidae, Casuariiformes : Casusariidae, and Psittaciformes : Psittacidae ; immature stages have been recovered from Cuculiformes : Cuculidae , and Passeriformes : Acanthizidae , Melephagidae and Ptilonorhynchidae ( Chalada et al. 2018, Guglielmone & Robbins 2018, Loh et al. 2018). Ixodes holocyclus is a frequent parasite of humans.
