6. Ixodes alluaudi Neumann, 1913c .

An Afrotropical species, all of whose parasitic stages are usually found on Soricomorpha : Soricidae , but all parasitic stages have also been collected from Rodentia : Muridae . Adults and larvae have been collected from Afrosoricida : Chrysochloridae ; adults and undetermined immature stages have been recovered from Lagomorpha : Leporidae , and Rodentia : Bathyergidae ; adults alone have been recorded from Rodentia : Spalacidae ; undetermined immature stages have been found on Macroscelidea : Macroscelididae . There are no records of Ixodes alluaudi causing human parasitism.
