Material examined. UKRAINE: Transcarpathian Region : 1 ♀, Mala Ugolka, beech forest, 500–1000 m, sweeping, 30.vii.1995, leg. A. Kotenko ( SIZK) .
Distribution. Palaearctic and Oriental regions; first record for Ukraine.
Taxonomical remark. The only known Western Palaearctic species of this subgenus. It is characterized by its elongate propodeum and the narrow and elongate metasoma, which is strongly compressed from 3 rd tergite on; the short and tongue-shaped ovipositor sheath, 2.9 × longer than wide (as in the sylvarum -group).
